She is so happy today
new toy in her hand
it was a handheld fan
and she plays it lovingly

"Kalin, tawarin dede mau pinjem?"
I said to her
pointing at her sister

she looked at her sister and said
"Dede mau pinjem ini?"
handing over the bright yellow fan
to her sister

her sister, half understand
move her hand slowly to grab the fan

Quickly she pull the fan
and said
"Dedenya nggak mau tuh di"

yawned and went on her regular sightseeing

She is six now
yes, six months that is
she can't talk yet
but yells alot

She is my second
pointy nose
lovely smile
she looks pretty in red

She plays with everything
her sister's toys
her mommy's dvds
and even my socks

Although I felt some distance between me and her
I tried hard to keep us close
I kissed her every morning and at night
Talked to her and tell her I love her

She is six now
and she is my second
Though she can't talk yet
I have her voice deep in my heart

I confess
I yelled at her
I twisted her ear
I pinched her arm

I was angry when I did that
or maybe I have power over her
or maybe it was my ego
or maybe I am the worst daddy ever

Then she hated me
she wont kiss me anymore
she wont play with me anymore
she said "Kalin nggak sayang dedi"

I confess I made mistakes

I confess I was a criminal

I said to her she can be angry with me

she kisses me whenever I asked
she plays with me, or teaches me how to play with her
she said "Kalin sayang dedi"
